Museums of the Prangli Islands

The museums showcase the history, nature and way of life of Suur-Prangli and Väike-Prangli (Aksi).
Museum of Farm Folk of Prangli Islands has a permanent exhibition on the everyday lives of the coastal folk of Prangli and Aksi over the centuries. Thus, fishing nets and seal tongs (4-to-5-metre ski for going seal hunting) can be found in the exhibition. There are also commodities from petroleum lamps to butter barrels.
Museum of Natural History of Prangli Islands has a permanent exhibition on the animals and birds of the island, and the ancient traditions of seal and bird hunting. All nature lovers who wish to hold seminars and training events in the museum are welcome as well.
