Linnahall

Tallinn’s Linnahall is an architectural gem with an exciting history.

Linnahall was used for the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics. The building’s exterior is reminiscent of ancient Mayan pyramids and the old Swedish-era bastions surrounding Tallinn’s Old Town.

The building’s seaside location and Linnahall’s proximity to the port have made it an important landmark for Tallinn’s residents.

You can walk around the outside and enjoy the view from atop Linnahall, but you can only go inside on a guided tour.
