Stories and Legends of Tallinn’s Old Town

During the Stories and Legends tour of Tallinn’s Old Town, you will hear funny legends, beliefs, and true stories and facts about Tallinn and local residents.

You will learn why St. Olaf’s Church is considered a “cursed” building, what was shown by a medieval person’s clothing, what diseases threatened the townspeople and how they were treated, how courts were held in the Middle Ages, and the punishments for various crimes. The tour will also discuss recent history, including the fight for Estonian independence, the Second World War, and the Singing Revolution.
