Women through the Centuries: a walking tour of Tallinn’s Old Town on the theme of women’s history
We invite you on an exciting journey through history, where we discover the role and life of women in Tallinn over the centuries. The “Women through the Centuries” tour will take you through Old Town’s medieval streets, where you will hear inspiring and heart-wrenching stories about women.
On the tour, you will learn about women’s lives in the Middle Ages, their jobs, and their rights and responsibilities. We will discuss women who were merchants, artisans, wives, and mothers, as well as those who were involved in scandals, intrigues, and changes in society.
