Anton Hansen Tammsaare Apartment-Museum

In a historicist summer dwelling type of house in the Tallinn district of Kadriorg, there is the apartment-museum of the classic Estonian author Anton Hansen Tammsaare (1878–1940). The writer lived in this building from 1932 to 1940.
The museum collections contain over 6,000 items, including the writer’s death mask and violin as well as his home archive, which features manuscripts, correspondence, documents, and photographs. The 5-room apartment on the first floor of the house is furnished in its original form.
