Lantern kicksledding trip in the Kõrvemaa Aegviidu–Nelijärve area

Matkajuht Kõrvemaa lantern kicksledding trip in the Aegviidu–Nelijärve area is a peaceful winter evening experience, where participants travel on LED-lit kicksleds through forests and terrain shaped by ancient glaciers. The trip begins at the Nikerjärve RMK site, traverses the Nelijärve hummocks and ridges, crosses the Jänijõe River, and returns in a loop to the starting point.

In the evening twilight, we light the sleds’ soft LED lights, which evenly illuminate the path and surroundings without being too bright. We travel at a relaxed pace, taking breaks to notice the details of winter nature: the light playing over the snow, the frosted spruces, and the shimmering frost. The trip is suitable for beginners and participants of various ages.

The trip lasts about 2.5 hours and is 6-9 km, depending on the pace. During breaks, you can rest and enjoy a warm drink from a thermos. If snow conditions change, the outing can be replaced with a lantern hike or an LED-lit electric fat bike or electric scooter hike.

It is suitable for families, groups of friends, and company outings.
