Restaurant MOON

MOON is a tricky word. In English, it means the Moon; however, when pronounced the Estonian way [mɔːn], it stands for a beautiful red flower (poppy).

A few years ago, Roman and Igor decided to toss their tall white chef’s hats in the corner and go back to their roots, and thus, restaurant Moon was born. Quoting a good friend of the owners and a wonderful person who said after visiting Moon for the first time: “You have to go back to move forward!”

Simplicity, independence, local raw ingredients, integrity and respect, Nordic coolness. An unusual name. Unusual location. But a very usual place otherwise. Restaurant MOON has been selected to the Top 50 of the best restaurants in Estonia for several years running.
