Tallinn Upper Lighthouse

The Tallinn Upper Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Estonia, serving as a guide for sailors for over 180 years. The lighthouse guides ships to the port of Tallinn and serves as an important navigational landmark and cultural heritage site.

The limestone lighthouse, built in 1896.  in the Lasnamäe area of Tallinn, is situated 80 meters above sea level and serves as a landmark alongside the Tallinn Lower Lighthouse. The spiral staircase of the tower features 182 steps, and from the top, it offers a breathtaking view of Tallinn’s cityscape and the sea.

Tickets to visit the lighthouse can be purchased at the on-site self-service ticket office. Up to 10 people are permitted to enter the tower at a time.
