Hike with a Wanderlust guide on the Viimsi Peninsula

Viimsi Peninsula surprises with how quickly you can escape the city hustle and bustle to reach the forest and open sea. On a guided walk with Wanderlust, you walk along the Baltic Sea coast, search with your eyes for large boulders, and learn why this area was once famous for its fishing villages.

The Soviet-era border zone has left moss-covered ruins in the forest, creating an eerily exciting feeling: just a stone’s throw from Tallinn, there was once a nuclear warhead storage facility, which you can now calmly explore.

On the way, you hear stories about Viimsi’s history, local nature, and the Baltic Sea, and you can take time to simply wander and observe. On the seashore, we take a refreshing tea break; if desired, bring a water bottle and a small snack. The hike usually lasts 2–3 hours and is enjoyable in any season; the difficulty level and pace can be adjusted to suit your group (if coming with children, agree on suitability with the guide).

Come for a walk in the fresh air, create shared memories, and enjoy the Viimsi Peninsula on foot! By agreement, you can also bring your furry friend along.
