Rummu Quarry
The crystal-clear, green-blue lagoon of the Rummu Quarry and the artificial hill next to it are an incredibly unique combination and an extraordinary holiday destination!
For decades, Rummu had a limestone mine and a prison. After the mining operations ended, the area quickly filled with crystal-clear water, burying the prison walls and buildings. This turned Rummu into an underwater world popular with divers.
There are many leisure activities in Rummu, both in the water and on land. There are several hiking trails in the surrounding area, and exploring the quarry with an audio guide or booking a guided tour is possible.
